Hotel Anando Saputara

It is in prime location all the sights are very close by. The view is amazing and food in the restaurant is really good. But don't expect much in terms of quality of the rooms. They are very old and the property is not at all maintained. The doors make loud sounds the locks were feeble and loose. The regulator of the fans didn't work properly. Its always loud outside. There was no room cleaning or room service in our 3 night stay. You have to ask for everything thats when you will get it. Over all the rooms are less than ideal but good location and very kind staff.

Anando Hotel Is strategically located in opposite of the Saputara Lake & the Garden / park on the south of the lake. Also the GJ / MH border check post is hardly 750 m from the Hotel. Overall the Hotel property is ok, the rooms are spacious. The toilet blocks are good / ok. Hot water is available (However the same is dependent on timings and usage. Room service is also ok, staff does respond you immediately after placing an order on the intercom. Interior of the rooms are a bit old fashioned, the main doors & the locking arrangements too are old fashion (Rather Jugad) could have had been done in a better way. Further the access MS ladder too is a bit risky / poorly fabricated (In case the same is being used by children old age person, one has to be careful). Since the Hotel is located on the sloppy ground, the main entrance staircase are a compulsion to use. (The risers are too high i.e. more than 300mm & the number of steps are too many). Guest arriving here with infants or kids less than 10 years & aged people, every time you use the stairs there are chances of accident. (Elderly people may not even use the stairs frequently). Overall its an ok property, looking at the current status & wear & tear of the rooms / accessories etc. tariffs offered In the off season too is on the higher side and should be brought down. (Tariffs are overpriced). In case the visitors are Youngsters (25 to 40) in groups can opt for other resorts, by paying nominal difference of amount in tariffs one can get benefits of indoor games / swimming pool etc.

Heart of Saputara is its lake and Anando is the best place to stay and witness the lake. Large & clean rooms with appreciative hospitality. Excellent location, next to the lake yet very quiet property. Only part of improvement is, it should include breakfast in the room rent, (preferably continental breakfast). Hotel food is delicious and prices are very economical.

The property is seems old they have managed well and barring few things all is ok to stay . Ample parking available, lake side view is amazing, greenery around makes this place cozy . The entry is stiff to climb and go through several corridors. No wifi at room , all other services available. Rooms are large in size and 2 adults and 2 kids can be accommodate easily. Price is listed higher side always. Limited menu in breakfast. They can do much better . But one can feel ok here .

Decent rooms, everything works, though they aren't cleaned daily. A little dated but big rooms and bathrooms. Hot water mostly in mornings,evenings if you're lucky. Little shabby..great views right in front of lake garden. Also design is good as it's on a slope so you can get your own balcony . Food is cheap and taste is good but not many options. Only major con is the approach has steep stairs so not suitable for older people
